Monopoly GO Flag Drop is scheduled to arrive on October 14, 2026, giving players another opportunity to collect racing resources before competing against other teams. This Peg-E-style minigame uses chips, bumpers, and milestone rewards to turn each drop into potential progress toward your next race. If you’re preparing for the upcoming competition, this Monopoly Go Racer Event guide explains how Flag Drop works, where to look for chips, and how to make your resources last longer.
What Is Flag Drop in Monopoly GO?
Flag Drop is a variation of the familiar Prize Drop minigame, with rewards designed around the Racers competition. Instead of treating it as a standalone activity, think of it as a way to build your Flag supply before spending those resources on the racetrack.
In previous editions, players dropped chips onto a Peg-E-style board. The chips bounced off obstacles and bumpers before landing in scoring areas, adding points toward milestone rewards.
The main reasons to play include:
• Collect Flags: Build up resources for the upcoming team race.
• Earn milestone rewards: Progress through the reward track as your drops accumulate points.
• Make use of daily tasks: Complete available activities that offer Flag Drop chips.
• Prepare for Racers: Gather resources before your team needs them on the track.

How to Play Flag Drop Efficiently
Once the minigame opens, your goal is to collect chips and use them to advance through the reward milestones. The basic process is straightforward, but choosing the right multiplier can make a difference when your chip supply is limited.
Follow these steps:
1. Collect chips first. Check the main event, tournaments, Daily Quick Wins, and other active activities for rewards that include Flag Drop chips.
2. Choose a drop multiplier. Higher multipliers use more chips per attempt and can generate faster progress, while lower settings help stretch a smaller supply.
3. Watch your milestone progress. Check how many points you need for the next reward before committing more chips.
4. Claim available prizes. Collect milestone rewards as you reach them rather than overlooking completed rewards.
5. Adjust your strategy. If a higher multiplier drains your supply too quickly, reduce it and focus on reaching the next useful milestone.
Remember that chip movement involves randomness. No specific drop position guarantees the best score, so avoid relying on supposed perfect-drop tricks.
How to Get More Flag Drop Chips
Your chip supply determines how many attempts you can make, making resource collection an important part of preparation.
Here are a few practical ways to improve your progress:
• Complete Daily Quick Wins while chip rewards are available.
• Check tournament and main-event milestones before using extra dice.
• Prioritize rewards that provide chips directly.
• Avoid spending dice without checking whether the associated milestones offer useful rewards.
• Keep some resources available for other activities during the Monster Mash season.
How Flag Drop Helps You Win Racers
Flag Drop supports the team-based Racers competition by providing Flags that can be spent to move your vehicle along the track. Previous Racers editions have featured multiple races, with overall team performance determining the final placement.
To get more from your preparation, coordinate with your three teammates, discuss participation plans, and avoid spending every available Flag without considering the remaining races. A larger Flag supply gives your team more flexibility, but communication and consistent participation still matter.

Flag Drop is worth watching if you’re aiming for a stronger start in the next Racers competition. Collect chips through available activities, use sensible multipliers, and check the reward track before committing your resources.
